I am selling a beautiful, hand-painted lidded box (bonbonnière) made of high-quality majolica ceramic in the classic, historical manufactory style. The round ceramic box is distinguished by its elaborate, traditional brush painting in elegant cobalt blue and ochre/golden brown, depicting an elegant lady with a ruff and a bird on her hand. The underside bears the model number “N: 142” as well as the manufactory mark and signature. The box is in very good overall condition. An honest note: There are two tiny, inconspicuous chips on the inner edge of the lid. They are completely invisible when closed and do not affect its use in any way (see detailed photos).
