Offered here is a set of 4 Steve Briggs Venture 12.6ft 3.25lb carp rods (handmade in the UK). Extremely rare dream carp rods.

I don't think much needs to be said about these rods. At the time, they had a new price of €900 per rod. An action so fantastic that every fight is an absolute experience. Whether small or large carp, they are a pleasure to fish with. The rod is rather soft and not a broomstick. I always fished them with leads between 80 and 100g. I found that ideal. At the time, they were available in limited quantities in 3.25lbs and 3.75lbs. The rods naturally have signs of use on the lacquer and, as with the 12.6ft models, line wear on the upper bindings. This is normal and unavoidable when fishing. The blanks, however, are undamaged. The rods do not have a lbs marking like the two in our other listing, as these are the first models. If this is an issue, they can be made to look good again with some rod-building varnish.

So here you have the chance to call a rod series your own that everyone will envy you for.
