"Can Artists Say Everything?" is a collection of interviews with various artists about their views on art. Original book price: 16 euros. I think this book may be particularly interesting for people interested in art, social relationships, or politics. For people with dyslexia, besides inclusive language, there is a particular choice of typography that may make some letters a bit difficult to read. The artists who participated in the project are listed on the back cover (see the second photo). Here are the questions answered by each person: - What do you say when asked what your profession is? - What do you not say when asked what your profession is? - Do you feel free to say what you want in your works and in life? - Have you ever been advised or forbidden to say something in your works or in life? Why? - Have you ever forbidden or prevented yourself from saying something? In your works and in life? Why? - On which subjects do you feel personally legitimate to speak? Why? - Do you prefer to let others speak on certain subjects? Why? - Do you think people not directly concerned can contribute to a subject? Do you take precautions when addressing topics that do not directly concern you? If yes, which ones? - Have you ever been reproached for saying things? Or on the contrary, for not saying them? - Does it seem risky to you to say what you think? Have you ever suffered consequences for it? - Have you ever said something you never thought you would say? - Can artists say everything?
