Can artists say everything? is a collection of interviews with several differentxs artists about their points of view regarding art. Original book price: 16 euros. I think this book can be particularly interesting for people interested in art, social relationships, or politics. For people with dyslexia, in addition to inclusive language, there is a particular choice of typeface that can make some letters a little difficult to read. The artists who took part in the project are the people listed on the back cover (see the 2nd photo). Here are the questions answered by each of the people: - What do you say when you are asked what your job is? - What do you not say when you are asked what your job is? - Do you feel free to say what you want in your works and in life? - Have you ever been advised against or forbidden to say something in your works or in life? Why? - Have you ever forbidden yourself or stopped yourself from saying something? In your works and in life? Why? - On which topics do you personally feel entitled to speak? Why? - Do you prefer to let others speak instead of you on certain subjects? Why? - Do you think that people who are not directly concerned can bring things to a subject? Do you take precautions when you address subjects that don’t directly concern you? If so, which ones? - Have you ever been criticized for saying things? Or on the contrary for not saying them? - Does it seem risky to you to say what you think? Have you already suffered the consequences? - Have you ever said something that you never thought you would say? - Can artists say everything?
