The primary illustrators and designers for Rudolf Brauchbar (also known as Rudolf Brauchbar & Cie) were Rudolf and Florie Brauchbar. 
In 1942, after the dissolution of the partnership Abraham, Brauchbar & Cie, Rudolf and Florie Brauchbar founded their own firm in Zurich, Switzerland. Rudolf Brauchbar himself was widely recognized as a renowned expert in the field of novelty fabric printing (Nouveauté-Stoffdruck).
