Amazing red ribbed 90s vintage light silk mockneck (or longsleeveshirt). Perfect for layering and mid seasons. Brand is MacElton, vintage from the 90s. Yes the shirt is knitted ribbed silk ! Historically, silk was not only woven but also knitted. Today, knitted silk is relatively rare and is mainly found in high-end and luxury brands, where it is valued for its exceptional softness, comfort, and craftsmanship.

100% silk seide soie seta. Beautiful quality of silk. Silk keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer, making it the perfect fabric for every season. Delicate garments need to be hand washed in cold water with detergent for delicates (I personally use Perwool powder).
