Chaco sandals use a continuous strap system that can be adjusted individually to your foot. Since the straps can move freely through the sole, you need to widen them first to put them on and take them off, so you can slip in comfortably.
After the first adjustment, you don’t need to re-adjust the straps every time. To take them off, simply open the buckle, pull on the heel strap and slide the shoe off. Next time, just step back in, push the heel strap to the back and close the buckle.
