Chaco sandals use a continuous webbing system that can be individually adjusted to the foot. Since the straps thread freely through the sole, they must first be loosened to slip in comfortably when putting them on and taking them off.
After the first adjustment, you don’t need to readjust the straps every time. To take them off, simply open the buckle, pull the heel strap, and slide the shoe off. Next time, just step back in, push the heel back into place, and close the buckle.
