Chaco sandals use a continuous strap system that can be adjusted individually to the foot. Since the straps run freely through the sole, they need to be widened first when putting them on and taking them off so you can slip in comfortably.

After the first adjustment, you don’t need to re-adjust the straps every time. To take them off, simply open the buckle, pull on the heel strap, and slide the sandal out. Next time, just step back in, push your heel backward, and close the buckle.
