Twelve-year-old Marinka longs for nothing more than a perfectly normal life. She wants to go to school and finally make friends. But that is quite difficult when your own grandmother is a Baba Yaga who guides the deceased into the afterlife. Especially when you yourself are destined to become the next Yaga. How is Marinka supposed to take her fate into her own hands while living in a house that, besides having quite a stubborn mind of its own, also has two legs with which it wanders from place to place as it pleases?
