Charcoal painting “The Kiss” by Quynh Chi Nguyen- 2021

Quỳnh Chi is a Vietnamese artist based in Switzerland. Passionate about minimalism and realism, she adopts charcoal as her signature to portrait emotions through the rawest lens.

When taking out colors, reality returns to its purest existence: light & darkness, black & white, density & void.

Charcoal meets paper, burnt wood meets tree, all forms of simplicity bursted with movement of emotions.
