Rio de Janeiro in the 1970s: to survive in the City of God you have to grow up fast. Because there are no children's games there, it is war. And that is where Dadinho and Buscapé live: one is already a notorious drug dealer, the other dreams of a future as a photographer. But his environment leaves little room for that. When his friend Benny is killed, Dadinho starts a brutal war with his arch-enemy. It does not take long for the conflict to escalate.
