Captivating and authentic Tcherot charm, the traditional good-luck and protective amulet of the nomadic Tuareg peoples (Sahara/Niger region). The piece stands out for its typical cushion-like geometric shape with four pointed corners, entirely made and hand-engraved by Saharan artisans. The front features rich and finely carved geometric designs (central hexagon, zigzag lines) which, in Berber culture, symbolize protection from the evil eye, guidance in the desert, and the flow of vital energy. The back consists of a smooth, sealed metal plate which traditionally encloses protective prayers or desert sand inside. The charm is paired with a sterling silver 925 chain made in Italy, hallmarked 1159 AR (historic jewellery district now known as Arezzo), added later to make it comfortable to wear the jewel.
