Beautiful vintage Giada Govolaro handbag dating from the 1970s, with a very distinctive design.
Made of soft anthracite-grey leather, it features a spacious, shaped silhouette with vertical panels and a rigid geometric handle in translucent amber-coloured resin with a tortoiseshell effect, combined with gold-tone metal finishes.
The interior retains the original Giada Govolaro lining, black with a repeated yellow logo, as well as a practical inner pocket with a zip closure.
The combination of soft leather, sculptural structure and rigid geometric handle strongly recalls the design of Italian handbags from the late 1960s and the 1970s.
Very good condition, with normal signs of age and use visible in the photographs, including slight creasing of the leather and small marks on the handle. Overall, it has retained its vintage character very well.
