Claire and her mother live together, but they only pass each other and communicate via post‑it notes stuck on the fridge door. Studies, friends, boyfriends, nights out and babysitting for one, the work as an obstetrician for the other, rarely allow them the time to be together and to talk. Their daily life unfolds through the little notes exchanged, sometimes laconic, sometimes funny, caring, sometimes angry, but you feel the very strong bond of love between mother and daughter, who manage to maintain a closeness despite the everyday life that separates them. Shopping lists, admonitions to tidy the room, pocket‑money demands, weariness or irritation — the themes are simple, everyday life, but evolve over time when the mother announces (admits) that she went to see a doctor, that she has a small lump, that she needs to see another doctor... With restraint and modesty, the two women, without really speaking, reveal the love they have for each other and the need they have for one another.
