The original factory stamp "THONET 81" is located on the underside of the frame (see detailed photo). This guarantees the authenticity and precisely dates the object to the production year 1981. Not a reproduction, but a genuine vintage original from Thonet.

For sale is a true Bauhaus design classic: an original Thonet S 32 cantilever chair (design: Marcel Breuer), in the timeless combination of chrome-plated tubular steel, black-stained wooden frame and Vienna cane.

Condition: Authentic vintage condition with visible patina and signs of use:
- The black-stained wooden frame shows age-related wear on the edges.
- The chrome frame shows a beautiful age-related patina / tarnishing in places.
- The Vienna cane is stable and fully load-bearing, but has some small, age-related isolated breaks in the seat area (see detailed photos).
