Black leather boots (Chunky Boots) with a robust brand-new VIBRAM lug sole – resoled by a shoemaker, with the lining and insole repaired. A few minor signs of wear can be seen on the repaired inner lining, see photos.

Pleasantly soft leather.

Rubberised toe cap (water-resistant).
High-quality zips for easy putting on without lengthy shoe-lacing. Red-and-black laces barely used, I had threaded different ones.

The Vibram sole provides very good grip, especially in winter. They were worn almost all year round as Chunky Boots.
