This elegant French mantel clock from the late 19th century (c. 1880–1900) is distinguished by its artistic design and detailed ornamentation in the Rococo style (Napoleon III). The clock is signed “CAMUS” on the underside – an indication of a known foundry or a French artisan. The case is decorated and features a graceful female figure as well as floral elements. The mechanical movement is currently not functional and requires professional restoration. Externally, the case is well preserved but shows signs of age (patina, small cracks at the base and wear marks). Dimensions (approx.): Height: approx. 30–40 cm Width: approx. 20 cm Depth: approx. 10–15 cm Features: Rare antique mantel clock from France Original dial and hands Ornately crafted case in gilded bronze or brass Signature “CAMUS” Not working – ideal for collectors, decoration or restoration
