This guitar is an authentic Fender Standard Stratocaster from Mexico (generally known in the music scene as MIM or Made in Mexico). Due to its excellent value for money, it is one of the most legendary and sought-after models. Key features Classic SSS configuration: Three single-coil pickups deliver the characteristic, crystal-clear and brilliant Fender sound. Finish: Body in the traditional three-tone Brown Sunburst. Neck and fretboard: Maple neck with a modern “C” profile and a rosewood fretboard. (Note: On guitars manufactured after mid-2017, the fretboard is made of Pau Ferro due to the environmental requirements in effect at the time.) Authenticity feature: The headstock has the distinctive black plastic surround around the truss-rod nut—an unmistakable detail that distinguishes Mexican Standard models from American models (with walnut wood inlays). Price: The price of the Fender Stratocaster varies extremely in Switzerland and depends on the exact model, the country of manufacture (USA, Mexico, Japan) and the year of construction. Based on the picture, this is a classic model in the 3-Color Sunburst design with a rosewood fretboard.
