As the successor to the award-winning D-M39, the D-M40 impresses with the high-quality, Hi-Fi-grade RCD-M40 CD receiver and the optimised two-way SC-M40 speaker system. Denon’s M series has been continuously developed for almost 20 years to meet the requirements of modern audio enthusiasts who want a micro stereo system without compromising on sound and design quality. The latest improvements include expanded connectivity options such as two digital optical inputs for connecting a television, set-top box or other digital sources where high audio quality is important.

The D-M40 includes a digital audio transmission and playback function for iDevices, which significantly improves the sound of these mobile devices. Digital signals from the iPod are transmitted to the D-M40 and processed by advanced audio circuits to produce clear, high-quality sound. In addition to its outstanding stereo sound performance, the D-M40’s USB port supports not only MP3 and WMA files, but also the lossless formats FLAC, WAV and AAC.
