Alesis PlayMate Guitar
The PlayMate Guitarist is the perfect trainer for guitarists who are also looking for a flexible guitar effects processor. To let you practise easily along with your favourite tracks, the PlayMate Guitarist has an integrated CD player with many features. This allows the speed of the tracks to be reduced enough for you to finally hear exactly what your guitar heroes are really playing. All this happens without changing the pitch of the song. Practise difficult passages in the original key until you have mastered them.
The integrated effects processor provides 80 editable multi-effects specially designed for guitarists. These include cutting distortion sounds, atmospheric modulation effects such as flanger and phaser, spacious reverbs and delays, and many special effects such as Leslie, pitch and bit reducer.
In addition to the jack input for a guitar signal, the PlayMate Guitarist has additional connections for attaching another stereo source. The stereo line output is a practical aid for using the PlayMate Guitarist in the studio or at live gigs. The two 6.3 mm stereo headphone outputs are particularly suitable for lessons with a guitar teacher or playing at home.
The clearly laid-out front panel is the device’s command centre. Here you control the CD player, the effects section and the pitch and tempo functions of the PlayMate Guitarist.
