Solid walnut (or oak stained walnut-colour) with turned baluster feet, chamfered posts and a composition of three stacked drawers. The chased bronze handles and natural patina attest to the craftsmanship of the period, without extravagant inlays or large gilded bronzes, which sets this piece apart from the more ornate styles such as Louis XV or Empire.
