The Cat. 7 S/FTP LSZH network cable with Cat. 6A connectors supports bandwidths of up to 600 MHz and features a snagless design with gold-plated contacts for Ethernet standards up to 10 GBase-T. The cable material, designed for operating frequencies of up to 600 MHz with overall braided shielding and individual foil shielding (S/FTP), is intended for use in data centres, server rooms and network rack and switch cabinet installations. These cables are manufactured and tested according to ISO/IEC 11801 specifications. The cables are individually packaged in a polyethylene bag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over long periods. A robust construction with strain relief prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal. This product uses Cat. 7 cable material. The Cat. 7 standard originally defined GG45 connectors, which were intended to be an evolution of RJ45 but failed to establish themselves on the market. In the meantime, the RJ45 connector has evolved to easily meet the requirements of Cat. 7, but has never been defined for Cat. 7, which is why the printing on the cable reads: 'Cat. 6A S/FTP patch cable with 600 MHz raw cable'.
