Glitter ball, but it has been emptied because the water no longer looked clean. 
Can be refilled again and filled with the glitter colour/shape of your own choice. 
How about a lighthouse in the snow with sequins/paillettes? 
Or blue glitter to show the spray from the wild sea?
Or just the clear version without water - set it up as decoration, works as well ;)

The lighthouse is glued onto the rubber stopper that can seal the glass globe. 

At the upper edge of the base, at the rim by the glass globe, some blue colour has come off.
