Rare original cover of the French fashion magazine “La Mode”, No. 5 dated 2 February 1919.

Beautiful colour illustration depicting an elegant Parisian woman accompanied by a dog.

The magazine was directed by Cousine Jeanne, editor-in-chief, and published at 61 Rue Lafayette in Paris.

This is an original document printed in 1919, not a modern reproduction.

The cover is presented in an old marquetry wooden frame, particularly decorative and itself probably dating from an earlier period.

⚠️ Condition: the printed cover shows the marks, patina and signs of age visible in the photos. The frame is considerably worn and has undergone old repairs on the back, but it still holds together properly. I prefer to leave it in its current condition in order to preserve its authenticity.

An interesting piece for collectors of vintage fashion, women’s magazines, illustration or historical decoration.
