Maps: Both rare original folding maps in the appendix are present. Both have age-related tears along the folds; the large route map has been reinforced/repaired at the hinge/fold with paper adhesive tape.
Binding: The spine was professionally renewed (dark leather with a gold-tooled spine label). Front board original with a gold-tooled animal scene, rear board rubbed/with scratches.
Interior: Binding firm. Pages darkened with age, endpaper with old pencil annotations.
