Discover the Hei Huia, a traditional handmade pendant from New Zealand (Aotearoa), representing the feather of a huia, a native New Zealand bird that unfortunately is now sadly gone.
These feathers are sacred in Māori culture. The huia feather is revered for its nobility and authority, and the white-tipped feathers were worn by chiefs to signify their mana (power and prestige).
