The Pentax PC35AF-M is a point-and-shoot camera with a very sharp 5-element in 5-group lens. The 35 mm f/2.8 lens is protected by a sliding cover that can be released by pressing down a small tab on the right side of the cover. The lens can focus from 0.7 m to infinity. This camera features a useful focus distance HUD in the viewfinder that shows the distance the camera is focused on when the shutter is half-pressed. An exposure compensation button is located on top of the camera, adjusting exposure by +1.5 EV.
