"Prince of Persia: Die vergessene Zeit" (original title: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands) is an action-adventure platformer available for the PlayStation 3 (PS3). The game is a direct sequel to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and is set chronologically between that and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

The game combines classic acrobatics, puzzles and combat with unique magical abilities.

Time manipulation:
The core ability of the game allows players to rewind time to correct mistakes or solve puzzles.

Elemental powers:
During the adventure the Prince acquires powers that let him turn water into ice, summon tornadoes or create protective shields.

Combat system:
A new combat system allows the player to face up to 50 enemies at once and execute intuitive combos.

Platforming:
Spectacular acrobatic feats at dizzying heights and vast game environments are a key part of the gameplay.
