The PS3 Metro First Edition is the first release of the game Metro: Last Light, offering additional digital content. It is a story-driven first-person shooter with survival-horror elements, based on the novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky. 

The "First Edition" (often also called the "Limited Edition") of Metro: Last Light includes bonus content intended to enhance the gameplay experience. 

The game places the player in the dark, claustrophobic tunnels of the Moscow metro after a nuclear catastrophe. 

Immersion:
The game is known for its dense and grim atmosphere, reinforced by the absence of an extensive HUD and visual/acoustic cues (such as a timer on the wristwatch for the gas mask filter). 

Combat and stealth:
Players can engage in combat with an arsenal of handcrafted weapons or opt for a stealth approach by turning off lights and taking out enemies in the dark. 

Moral choices:
There are subtle moral choices in the game that influence the player's karma and can lead to different endings. Positive actions, such as saving people or eavesdropping on conversations, bring good karma. 

Surface exploration:
Occasionally the game takes you to the radiation-contaminated surface of Moscow, where a gas mask and filters are required to survive.
