Killzone 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Guerrilla Games and released in 2009 exclusively for the PlayStation 3 (PS3).

It is regarded as one of the best shooters on the PS3 platform and offered impressive graphics and gameplay experience at the time of its release.

The game puts the player in the role of special forces soldier Sev, who finds himself on the Helghast homeworld in an intense war zone.

Realistic gameplay:
The game focuses on immersive, cinematic gameplay that the developer described as tuned for “Hollywood realism.”

Improved gunplay and AI:
Compared to its predecessor, Killzone 2 offers a notably improved shooting feel, graphics, and advanced enemy AI.

Multiplayer:
The multiplayer mode was also a highlight and, thanks to the community with dedicated servers, is still partly active after the official servers were shut down in 2018.
