Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a racing simulation video game developed by Polyphony Digital for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and served as a precursor to the full version Gran Turismo 5.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is notable for its detailed graphics and realistic driving physics, benefiting from the PS3’s computing power.

The game offers a selection of over 40 (or 71 in the final Prologue list) stunning cars from manufacturers such as Lotus, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Ferrari.

Online Races:
For the first time in the series, players could compete online via the PlayStation Network (PSN) with up to 16 players.

Additional Features:
It includes online leaderboards, a virtual museum on the history of car manufacturers and a customisable homepage ("My Page") with weather data for the circuits.
