The aim of the game is for one player to explain a secret keyword to their team without using certain taboo words listed on the card.

Players are divided into two teams.
A describer draws a card with a keyword and a list of words that are "taboo" (hence the name).

Within a time limit (measured with an hourglass), the describer must paraphrase the term. If they use one of the taboo words, a "watcher" from the opposing team presses a horn (or an electronic buzzer in newer versions), and the card does not count.

For each guessed term, the describer’s team receives one point and advances on the game board. The team that reaches the goal first wins.

Condition:
The game is complete and in good used condition.
