In Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the GameCube (2005), the player takes on the role of a street racer who must assert himself in the fictional city of Rockport against the “Blacklist”, a group of 15 notorious drivers, while being constantly pursued by the police.

The gameplay combines illegal street races in an open world with intense police chases. To challenge a Blacklist driver, the player must meet specific requirements divided into three categories:

Race wins:
The player must win a certain number of races.

Milestones:
These are achieved in pursuits and involve completing specific objectives, such as escaping within a given time or destroying a certain number of police vehicles.

Bounty:
The amount the police have set for the capture of the player. It increases through risky maneuvers and pursuits.
