Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup was released in 2003 by Electronic Arts for the GameCube (as well as other platforms). 

Gameplay:
You can play any position on a Quidditch team – Chaser, Beater, Keeper and Seeker. The aim is to score points, control the Bludgers and ultimately catch the Golden Snitch to earn 150 points and end the match.

Modes:
The game is split into two main modes: the Hogwarts House Cup and the Quidditch World Cup.

Hogwarts:
Here you choose one of the four houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin) and compete against the other houses to win the cup. This also serves as an introduction to the game mechanics.

World Cup:
After winning the House Cup, you can select one of several international teams (including the USA, Japan, Germany, England, France and Australia) and participate in the World Cup.

Unlockables:
By mastering challenges and winning matches you can unlock Quidditch collectible cards, which in turn grant special moves and access to better brooms (such as the Nimbus 2001 and the Firebolt) in the game.
