“The Ash and the Gold” 

This artwork, although abstract, explores grief as a living, moving, organic space. 
In the foreground, a weeping willow seems to be collapsing onto itself; its heavy branches drip like tears frozen in time. It embodies memory, what remains there, rooted forever… despite the passing of time. 

In the center, a silhouette almost transparent, as if dissolved into the material, holding a black rose between its hands. 

The chosen colors evoke memories, nostalgia, but also sorrow. 

The thick, chaotic texture gives the impression that the canvas carries the weight of grief. Nothing is smooth, nothing is yet at peace, but at the heart of this ordeal, something continues to exist.
