The musical set includes: 1 8-tone metallophone and 2 mallets, 4 sheet music pieces for the metallophone, 1 tambourine with 3 cymbals and 1 pair of maracas.The metallophone includes 8 metal bars mounted on a natural wood frame (FSC). Each bar corresponds to a musical note. To differentiate them, each bar has a colour code and a letter (engraved on the bar). To discover first scales, 4 sheet music pieces are provided with the metallophone: "À vous dirais-je Maman", "Au clair de la lune", "Une poule sur un mur" and "Vive le vent". These scores use the colour and letter codes of each bar. This practice (similar to the rainbow method) allows children to approach music theory in a playful way. The 2 supplied mallets can be stored on the side of the metallophone.
