It is a distinctive dome-shaped statement cocktail ring featuring a finely carved, ribbed (or fluted) texture inspired by natural sea shells.

This piece is a 1990s re-release version of the legendary French luxury glassmaker Lalique's iconic "Cabochon" ring, which was originally created in 1931.

The ring is engraved at the bottom with an inscription that reads ‘Lalique France’.
