Free-standing coat stand with its integrated umbrella holder, designed by French designer Jean-Pierre Vitrac for the Manade brand during the 1970s and 1980s. The black plastic hooks can pivot independently by 180 degrees along the metal uprights. It consists of a double vertical arch in chrome-plated steel, fixed on a rectangular weighted base that serves as a drip tray. An intermediate ring provides support for the umbrellas. This streamlined piece fits perfectly into the trend of the era’s Space Age design office furniture.
