Freestanding coat stand with integrated umbrella stand, designed by French designer Jean-Pierre Vitrac for the Manade brand during the 1970s and 1980s. The black plastic hooks can pivot independently through 180 degrees along the metal uprights. It consists of a double vertical arch in chromed steel, fixed to a weighted rectangular base that serves as a drip tray. An intermediate ring provides support for umbrellas. This minimalist piece fits perfectly with the Space Age design office furniture trend of the period.
