The paradisiacal life of the charming pirate Captain Jack Sparrow takes a sudden blow when the sinister Captain Barbossa seizes his proud ship, the "Black Pearl", and raids the port town of Port Royal, where he kidnaps the beautiful governor's daughter Elizabeth Swann. That is something the adventurous blacksmith Will Turner, Elizabeth's confidant since childhood, cannot let pass.
