At marko, the team was busy at work this summer building new features to make your secondhand experience better – whether you’re buying, selling your secondhand, or just browsing for your next style obsession. We’ve rolled out a bunch of upgrades recently, and they’re all about one thing: making your time on marko smoother, smarter, and stress-free.
Here’s everything that’s new and how to get the most out of it.
One-Click Listings
The new feature allows AI to create your entire listing for you, enabling you to upload your items even faster and with less effort.
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Upload your item images – Make sure to show the front, the back and the tag. You can add any detail pictures after that.
2️⃣ Our AI analyses them and automatically fills in all relevant attributes
3️⃣ You can review, adjust, or accept the suggestions
Make an offer
Send offers & seal the deal.
Now you can make an offer and tell the seller what you’re willing to pay.
Here’s how it works:
- Find the item you’ve been eyeing 👀
- Tap on Make an offer
- Choose your price 💸
- If the seller accepts, you’ll have 48 hours to grab it before the deal expires
For sellers: You’ll see offers straight in your DMs – you decide whether to accept or decline, or if you simply want to send a counteroffer. Offers are private, so only the buyer sees the price they proposed. For everyone else, the item stays at full price.
Direct messages between buyers and sellers
DM sellers directly on marko.
Ask about sizing, negotiate, arrange a pickup – or just say hi. Whether you’re mid-transaction or just curious about an item, messaging makes it way easier to connect and get answers fast.

Bundles and Bundles Discounts
Bundles – shop multiple items from one seller in one go.
Buyers can combine items like a hoodie, sneakers, and jeans into a single bundle and only pay shipping once. For sellers, it means fewer packages and more sales.
✅ Bundles are automatically enabled for eligible sellers.
⚙️ Prefer to disable it? Head to your Settings.
You can also offer discounts for people who buy 2 or more items to increase your chances of closing the deal.
Here’s how to set it up:
- Head to your settings and open seller tools
- Tick the checkbox next to Bundle Discounts
- Choose the discount amounts you’d like to offer
Buyers will see that you offer discounts on your profile, and it’ll be automatically applied at checkout when they add your bundle to their cart.
Location based filter
Looking for something local? Use the Location Filter to discover great pieces near you. It’s perfect if you’d like to pick up your thrift finds in person. Simply enter your postcode and choose the distance you’re willing to travel.
A feed created uniquely for YOU
We’ve created a feed that really gets your style.
It’s called the ‘For You’ Feed, and it’s curated based on what you like, share, browse, and buy on marko, and more. That means the more you engage, the more tailored it becomes. Whether you’re into minimal sneakers or vintage windbreakers: no need to browse through over half a million items on marko, we’ll bring the good stuff straight to your feed.
Explore your ‘Following Feed’ – you can easily see new items from sellers you follow, all in one place.
“Vacation mode”
Planning a holiday? Or just need a little offline time? Vacation Mode has your back.
When you turn it on, your listings are still visible – buyers can browse, like, and even comment. But they can’t buy until you’re back. That means no awkward delays in shipping and no stress while you’re away.
Even better? Once you turn Vacation Mode off, buyers who liked your items get notified that they’re available again. So your return gets a little extra boost.
➡️ Pro tip: Activate Vacation Mode in your Settings before your break, and return to a bunch of ready-to-buy users.
Save your searches
Let’s be real – you probably search the same things over and over. “Nike dunks, size 42, under CHF 100,” sound familiar?
Now, you can save any search you do – filters, price ranges, sizes and all. marko remembers it for you, and even better, we’ll notify you when new items match.

- Run your search as usual
- Tap the little flag icon to save it
- Check your profile to manage or delete saved searches anytime
“My Sizes”
With My Sizes, you can set your size preferences once and we’ll use them to filter your listings automatically. Whether you’re looking for tops, jeans, or sneakers, we’ll only show you what fits.
It’s like a personal shopping assistant – minus the awkward fitting room.
