Brass, Vintage Rose Water Sprinkler (Gulab pash)

Beautiful vintage brass, Indian, rose water sprinkler (Gulab pash).
Gulab Pash of Persian origins was introduced to medieval India in Mughal courts and widely used by Muslims and Hindus alike in religious ceremonies and festivals.
The neck of the sprinkler unscrew from the bottle so that scented water can be added. The top has three tiny holes for dispensing the rose water.
Some minor nicks and scratches as can be expected, but it still remains a charming object.
