i used to share them with my mitbewohni: she has shoesize 39, i have 38 and it worked for us both.
the leather is still in good condition, although there are obviously traces of them being used (especially at the front). similar case with the sole: traces of them being worn are there, but they shouldn’t have any impact on the quality
